Tucked away in Blackburn’s South Parade, this cafe offers a relaxed spot for those who appreciate carefully made coffee and a casual, cozy atmosphere. The menu focuses on classic coffee options like cappuccinos, flat whites with soy milk, and mochas, alongside a selection of small plates and light meals including breakfast and lunch items. Many visitors come for their coffee and often find themselves settling in with a book from the on-site shelf, which caters to both adults and kids.
The space combines indoor and outdoor seating, providing a comfortable setting whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a longer stay. It’s common to see solo diners working on laptops, as some seating spots include power access, though the ambient noise might make conference calls a bit challenging. The environment strikes a balance between trendy and casual, with soft lighting and thoughtful furniture that makes it an inviting place to catch up with friends or enjoy some quiet time.
Families with children and small groups also find this cafe welcoming, supported by features like wheelchair-accessible entrances, seating, and restrooms, plus free parking nearby. While the food and coffee choices aren’t extensive, they focus on quality and freshness, which appeals to locals looking for a peaceful coffee break or a simple brunch spot in the neighbourhood. The vibe feels genuine and unhurried, making it a reliable stop for those who appreciate a calm corner of Blackburn away from the busier parts of town.

"Wonderful customer service, great coffee and a cosy atmosphere in a roomy cafe."
"Good service, nice people, customer focused."
"Very thorough and careful with customers with food allergy."
5 Great coffee and good service. The ambience is good and we can spend some peaceful time with our coffee. They have a book shelf that has books for both adults and kids. Their Chicken avo sandwich is amazing and usually sells out soon. A humble suggestion - it will be great if they add wifi and some additional electrical power sockets, so we can choose to work/study. Thanks.
4 Blackburn local coffee shop. Good coffee with some limited coffee and hot food options. Indoor and outdoor seating. Some seats inside have access to power to charge phones and laptops. Not too noisy, so can work there, but a little too loud with ambient noise to do conference calls, etc. Friendly service, reasonably priced.
5 My favourite place to go. Lovely owners and the best coffee you can get in the eastern suburbs for sure.
5 Nice design with good furniture and kind staff. This package will give you a happy day.
4 Great coffee and whilst the atmosphere was inviting, the overall experience left me with mixed feelings. This cafe has a cozy and modern vibe, with comfortable seating and soft lighting that makes it an ideal spot for working or catching up with friends. The prices were noticeably steep, even for a specialty coffee shop. I ordered a simple latte and while it was well-made, with a nice balance of espresso and foam, it didn’t quite justify the price tag. The pastries, though fresh and tasty, were also on the expensive side, making it hard to justify indulging in more than one item. We ordered two small hot chocolate and one latte,2 croissants and one toasts and I was surprised the bill ended at $55! The quality of the coffee was undeniably good, but for the cost, I expected something extraordinary. While I appreciate the attention to detail and the use of high-quality ingredients, the price point felt a bit excessive for what was ultimately a fairly standard café experience.

5 Great little local gem. Coffee was just right and not burnt like most other cafes. They also have freshly made in house croissants. Staff were really friendly. Worth a visit.
The Chicken avo sandwich and their coffee options like cappuccino and flat white with soy milk are very popular and often recommended.
Yes, it offers a cozy atmosphere with some indoor seats that have power outlets, but Wi-Fi is not available, so it’s better for light work or reading than for conference calls.
